Virtual tours – our newest garden adventure!

Hello everyone!

We hope you are staying well and keeping your spirits up during these uncertain times. We are so missing travelling with you at such a beautiful time of year when spring is unfurling in the Northern hemisphere and we’re easing into autumn here in Australia. COVID has created a great deal of hardship for many people and now more than ever we need to celebrate the good and beauty that gardens give us.

As we can’t travel together at the moment, we’ve decided to do some virtual travel instead! We’re asking our local guides, gardeners and friends all around the world to share a little piece of what’s happening where they are. We plan to have a lot of fun with this and we hope you will join us for the ride!

Introducing Mari ….To get us started on our virtual adventure, we’d like to introduce you to Mari, our Japanese guide who has guided tours with us for over 20 years! She is a very dear part of our tour family, one of the best tour guides around and we just adore her.

On the weekend, Mari snapped a few photos in her local Kyoto and sent them to Graham. We think Kyoto is one of Japan’s most beautiful cities. Mari’s insider knowledge in Kyoto and throughout Japan is invaluable. Mari’s always knows the best places to take us and the perfect spots to see cherry blossoms! Thank you Mari for sharing your photos and we can’t wait to see you again soon. Sending you all our love!

Stay tuned for more Cherry Blossom inspiration in our next postcard.

Until then, please stay safe and well, from all of us at Ross Tours.
